Thank you to everyone who joined us for ESEA’s General Membership Meeting on May 19 during the Eastern Energy Expo at Mohegan Sun. We appreciated the strong turnout and the opportunity to bring members together to discuss the many legislative, regulatory, and energy policy issues continuing to impact our industry.
A special thank you to Federated Insurance for sponsoring our luncheon and to Dean Rhoades for his presentation, “Unmasking Commercial Insurance Fraud: Risks, Red Flags, and Remedies.” The session provided valuable insight into the growing risks businesses face and practical ways companies can better protect themselves.
During the meeting, members received updates on ongoing legislative and regulatory activity in New York, ESEA’s advocacy and communications efforts, and the association’s continued work promoting renewable liquid fuels, affordability, reliability, and practical energy solutions throughout the state.
We also discussed ESEA’s Upgrade & Save Program, Generation Next workforce development initiatives, upcoming industry events, and the association’s expanding media and public affairs outreach efforts through Marathon Strategies.
In addition, we recognized and thanked the member companies that have contributed to ESEA’s Marketer Defense Fund. Their continued support plays an important role in helping strengthen the association’s advocacy and public affairs efforts on behalf of the industry.
