Another ESEA Golf Outing is in the books, and we’d like to thank everyone who joined us at Colonie Golf & Country Club. For the second year in a row, we were treated to beautiful weather. At this point, we’re pretty convinced we’ve identified the one member who’s been bringing us bad luck all these years. Let’s just say…he’s missed the last two outings, and the weather has been perfect. We’ll let everyone draw their own conclusions!
From a great day on the course to a great dinner, fantastic raffle prizes, plenty of friendly competition, and maybe a few scorecards that deserved a second look, it was another memorable outing. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the day such a success.
One of the highlights of the evening was recognizing our 2026 ESEA Scholarship recipients. Congratulations again to Jack Geckler, recipient of the Michael J. Manning Memorial Scholarship; Brenna Wright, recipient of the Mirabito Scholarship Award; and Phoenix Johnston, recipient of the James R. Buhrmaster Memorial Scholarship. We were proud to celebrate their accomplishments and wish them continued success as they pursue their educational goals. Please join us in congratulating Jack, Brenna, and Phoenix on this well-deserved recognition.
A special thank you to ESEA Chairman Brandon Smith of Scott Smith & Son for assisting with the scholarship presentation and raffle drawings, and to our Central/Western Region Vice President Dan Mattice of Reinhardt Corp., for helping with raffle ticket sales throughout the day.
