Eastern Energy Expo Wrap-Up

From Eastern Energy Expo

Celebrating its 10th anniversary, Eastern Energy Expo welcomed more than 3,800 attendees, 215 exhibiting companies, and 36 sponsors to Mohegan Sun last week, making this year’s event one of the most successful in the show’s history.

Eastern Energy Expo brings together wholesale and retail heating fuel marketers, motor fuel distributors, diesel and biodiesel distributors, propane marketers and service professionals to see the latest and best in products and services for the petroleum marketing and HVAC industry. More than 50 business and technical education sessions—many standing room only — were presented throughout the event, along with a packed Hospitality Night, a sold-out Golf Tournament, and an inspiring OESP Awards Banquet. OESP also offered a Student Skills Competition on the trade show floor with more than 200 students participating from six schools over the two-day program.

Wednesday’s Keynote program featured two presentations. The first was a panel discussion examining the strengths, limitations, and future outlook of both liquid heating fuels and heat pump technologies, highlighting where each solution performs best and the challenges facing the industry. The second featured veteran oil market analyst Tom Kloza, who shared his insights on current energy markets.

The two-day trade show showcased the latest products, technologies, and services for the energy and home comfort industry, including outdoor live-fire demonstrations.

Show management expressed appreciation to exhibitors, attendees and the record number of sponsors who made this year’s event a success.
