Governor Expands Statewide Emergency Response

On Monday, Governor Hochul expanded New York’s State of Emergency statewide in response to continued lake-effect snow, high winds, and dangerous winter conditions impacting travel, power reliability, and public safety across New York. The Executive Order extends emergency authorities through January 28, 2026, ensuring state resources remain fully deployed as conditions persist.
