1. One-Day Oil Heat Fundamentals Training

Location: Albany Region

Anticipated Schedule: Late August

Course Description: This one-day, 8-hour training course is designed to provide technicians with a concentrated introduction to the essential components and operating principles of oil heat systems. Tailored for HVAC professionals with limited oil experience or those seeking a refresher, this course blends classroom instruction with hands-on troubleshooting. Refreshments and lunch will be served.

Target Audience: HVAC technicians with minimal oil experience or experienced techs seeking a refresher.

2. One-Day NORA Silver Certification Review Course

Location: Albany and Syracuse Regions

Anticipated Schedule: Late August, Early September

Course Description: This one-day, 8-hour review course prepares service technicians with NORA Bronze Certification or equivalent experience to take the Silver Certification test online. The curriculum includes topics such as liquid fuels, basic electricity, equipment maintenance, service procedures, and energy conservation. Attendees can take the test online at the end of the session or later. Refreshments and lunch will be served.

Target Audience: HVAC technicians with NORA Bronze Certification or equivalent experience, seeking Silver Certification.
