Speaker John Levey
Monday, August 28th - 3:00pm Seneca Room
The fuels our industry provides have evolved during recent years to include biofuels and lower sulfur heating oil. Although the fuels have changed over the years, the fuel quality challenges the industry faces today are not so different than we've been dealing with since the 1950's. This session will address questions fuel oil marketers may have including;
  • What is the relationship between fuel quality and service costs?
  • Do our traditional fossil fuels and biofuels have a shelf life?
  • What can be done to improve and/or maintain fuel quality?
  • Are there any recommendations for dealing with fuel related problems?
  • What resources are available to dealers who have issues related to fuel quality?
  • What steps can dealers take to proactively deal with potential issues?
Angus Energy - Unlock Your Customer's Secrets. Your Data Already Knows
Speaker Danny Silverman
Monday, August 28th - 4:00pm Seneca Room
Customer behaviors are not random. Whether you have 1,000 or 500,000 customers, their actions - brand new ones as well as long standing ones - tell a very compelling and predictable story. Our industry has focused too long on improper metrics, such as "cost per acquisition" of a new customer. Shouldn't the concern be the ROI in money spent to acquire a customer? In addition, when you give credits to customers, simply because that SEEMS to mollify whatever was bothering them when they called, is that money well spent?

Companies have always had a hard time answering these questions and understanding how to optimize money spent on customer acquisition and retention. This seminar will: Recap and show you enhancements to customer scoring models and focus on customer acquisitions (how to determine future customer value to help determine correct dollar spend now); customer retention (a customer saved is a customer earned),and dollars spent (what is your best ROI).

AMERIgreen Energy - You've Got Millennials All Wrong:
Here's How to Attract them as Customers & Grow Your Employee Base with Bioheat®

Speakers Steve McCracken & Aubrey Kreider
Tuesday August 29th - 12:45 Seneca Room
Millennials are the largest and most diverse generation. They are the next generation of homeowners and leaders. In the next 10 years their Baby Boomer parents will be retiring en masse and moving out of their homes, leaving opportunities for companies to gain Millennials as the next generation of homeowners and business leaders. In this session, you will learn about Millennials from two important aspects: how best to market to Millennials as customers with Bioheat®; and how to successfully utilize Bioheat® to sustainably grow your employee and customer base. We'll share stories of distributors that have successfully used Bioheat® as a foundation to grow their business and company culture.
